Kanguru Solutions Ships the Audio Flash MP3 Player

This is the first time one of the flash drive companies has made a jump into the MP3 player space with a unit bearing top of the line features.

The new Kanguru Audio Flash player seems to have all the great stuff you’d expect from a new flash-based player. It has a USB2.0 interface and mass-storage connectivity, an OLED color display (one of the first to make it to the US), playback of MP3/WMA/WAV, digital voice recorder, and even line-in recording. It also has an FM tuner with 20 presets, and can record off of the radio as well.

Sizes range up to 1GB, prices aren’t yet specified – though we’d guess they’ll be in line with other similar flash players, maybe a bit more expensive because of the new OLED screen. The player comes with earbuds, carrying case, neck strap, and rechareable AAA battery (don’t know if that means it’ll recharge internally via USB…).

And, of course, as a standard flash drive as well, the player can be used to store most anything, and should be compatible with pretty much all USB mass-storage supporting machines (Win, Mac, probably Linux) on the market.

Feel free to read on for the full press release, and check back in the upcoming weeks for a full review of this new player!
