I got 2 free SD cards because of the Magellan site mucked up so I got North East & South East for free Saved $100 buck and yes I did get them via us mail

i have received my free sd card i `v found there not really up to date with the roads or the cds that comes with the roadmate 300 where can a person go to update the mapping i also updated the firm ware from magellan
As i said in my last post the mapping is out of date if magellan can ever update there mapping thay would have one great product in the roadmate 300
I bought one of these as a closeout…it was a good buy, but I do see a lot of problems with the mapping software being out of date. Many businesses listed are incorrect (and these are stationary businesses for 5+ years). I called Magellan to complain and they simply told me that updated maps will be for sale for a fee of $100 at the end of this year. They have terrible customer service for their product based on this and the way they treated me. It’s still a good buy, just be sure to check out other brands. Delorme has awesome maps…
is the offer still good for a free SD cards? I just bought mine and found this website looking for the preloaded SD cards. I cannot find them anywhere?

I BOUGHT THIS UNIT SECOND HAND AND WAS WORKING , NOW AFTER 1 MONTH, WHEN TURNED ON ,THEUNIT SAYS NO MAP FOUND ,I HAVE HAD NO JOY OUT OF MAGELLAN,OR HELP,

The second time I called I was told updates were done normally every 18 months. They have terrible customer service for their product based on this and the way they treated me.
I paid over $500 July 2005 had it to long to return it.

magellan roadmate 300 really the worst way to go,becase i felt so ashamed after buying this product for my wife a year ago for more than twice of all the other g.p.s. there is no map or data save when i am travelling.the worst part about this device is nowhere has update for them even the very authorised dealer can not help you.

yes i have a magellan 300 eu i found it ok to use
only thing is i cant download or up date my softwear
becouse i dident have cd whith unit part from that

i got magellan last year very dissappointed was no were near update then for irish towns half of them when u enter them the map went white cant up date them either what a waste of money up the tomtom

I spent some time with tech support today. they told me it is discontinued. I have lost my software and need to change the map area.
Anyone have some software they can copy for me? I need CA, OR, WA, NV. and the install disk.
I also find it weird that people in India have names like Edna and Frank. I am willing to pay shipping and a small fee.
